I went to Paris over Christmas and whilst browsing the genius of Martin Margiela and Commes des Garcons in Colette I decided to buy a Mini Diana Camera. I love the image quality and the nostalgia of using film again. It is so much more exciting to wait until the film is developed to see what you have captured. With a Diana the photograph is either a square or split frame half landscapes. It is quite odd as well that landscape and portrait are opposite to the way you hold the camera! The overlay of imagery and the colours the camera produces are beautiful and so inspiring.
